Blogs are new in education today and there are many reasons that they will be useful in the classroom. Here is a list of reasons to have a class blog:
Students and Parents can contribute to the blog
student work can be displayed on the blog for parents to see
I can post homework, announcements, and reminders for students and parents
students can respond to a post for an assignment
allows students to be creative
encourages technological education
parents can provide feedback about homework and activities
students can blog about book reviews
I will have weekly book reviews posted
list of picture books
posts on current community activities
There are many more things that can be done with a blog, and I look forward to using it in my classroom.
